    Still on that feckin' island!

Question Is Anyone Ever Folding Here?

    Villain is VP:10 PF:9 3Bet:2 over 289 hands

3Bets have all been from BB v steals so far

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (5 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button ($5)
    SB ($13.70)
    BB ($5)
    Hero (UTG) ($5.26)
    MP ($5.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K
Hero bets $0.20, 3 folds, BB raises to $0.60, Hero raises to $1.80, BB raises to $5 (All-In), Hero ???

Folding is only an option is villain's range is AA. It's not, he's wider. Snappity snapsnap.

if he has 2combos of QQ and 6 combos of AA this is a barely losing call.

Not sure about sizing here tbh. x3 open seems sufficient and allows him to continue wider, and our 4bet of x3 seems excessive too, again we're letting him fold out some of his range that he maybe continues to a min 4bet.

i am folding vs this opp. he is very tight , he has a 2% 3bet, he is 3beting from BB an UTG open and he shoves over our 4bet so i would expect to see him KK+ always .

i wouldnt 4bet so much preflop, i would go like 1.3-1.5.

but i wouldnt 4bet pre, i would flat the 3bet IP and keep his range as wide as possible QQ+, AK ,prob fold A flops and stack off any J high flops and of course when we hit our K.

by 4betting a tight opp like that, i think would fold QQ, AK and shove over KK+ so i dont see why to 4bet.

have you seen him show up with AK or QQ in a single raised pot?
I think given stats and positions its likely he has you beat but Im not folding unless im absolutely sure he doesnt 3 bet AK QQ, which you're not; its 5 handed ffs.
I might flat the 3 bet to keep his range the widest if I thought he would lay down AK/QQ to a 4bet (which needn't be so big btw). If he is laying down less than KK here then Im gonna start mixing in some bluff 4bets.

rofl samplesize i'm never folding KK here especially not shorthanded. agreed he's a nit but he can definately show up with worse his 3 bet stat is going to be skewed anyway over 289 hands. Even with a big sample i'm probably never folding 5 handed

Snap call. Even if you give him a range of JJ+, you're about 3:2. And a flip vs QQ+. Can you confidently put him on a narrower range than those?

Never even considering a fold here.

Question to everyone here, if the stat sample size was way bigger (100k hands) would you find a fold?

w/ 100k hands sample you should have enough reads to know how to react vs his shove and if you dont have enough reads and/or dont know how to play vs a villain w/ 100k hands sample you should quit poker or start all over again from 2nl cause there is a huge problem.

I doubt it, certainly not at 5nl anyway.

Considering AA is only .5% no.
