Default all in people ,how to play them?

How are you guys doing today?
I like to pIay online and most of the time i play at Heracasino.
I find myself quite often in tournaments that when it gets down to the last few people..every hand is either all fold or all in. There is no actually playing the hand..its one or the other. I have tried waiting for monters, but AA, AKs almost always get beat out. I hate having to bet everything on hole cards.

So how do you go about combating this?? Any suggestions?

    thanks!

sorry, gonna have to deal. they have some neat programs in the MTT and SNG forums that can help you with push/fold decisions but that is the game you're gonna have to play. the blinds and antes are just too high to do anything else.

Pick your spots and initiate some of your own shoving. Select from one of the fine hands your opponents are likely firing with - connectors, high card, suited stuff and the rare monster. If you have an ace or king call short stacks. Once you see a few of these shoves turned over the fear will dissapate. GL

I agree. When you get down to that few players and the blinds and antes are up that isn't much else to do. Your hole cards are much better than you might think in these situations. One Ace or King in your hand is a lot better now that there are only a few people left in the game. The more you play in these spots the more you will notice that these players are pushing with these types of hands.

Personally, I'd figure out what someone's range was and then determine my equity vs that range in some kind of http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...in-t87954.html by spoonitnow, instead of just blindly calling eveyone with any ace or king...but thats just me.

    I am Queens Blvd.
You should push all-in before they push all-in.

    Think about it.
That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

JKDS- True, I am not saying you call an all in because you have an Ace or a King but you have to determine if your starting hand is better than the raiser. Your Ace or King has a lot more value if you are heads up or 3handed.

There is a great program called SNG Wizard that helps you make the right decisions for pushing all-in or calling an all in in sit'n goes, according to your hand, stack sizes and opponent's ranges. Actually it will not give you advice WHILE you are playing, but it will help you analyze the game after it has been played based on the hand history. It also has a "quiz" mode, in which the program puts you in situations and asks you for your action (push all-in, call an all-in or fold). That is great for getting a feel for what is right in what type of situation.

You should also do some research on the ICM model on which the above program is based, to understand where it is coming from.
