Reason I think calling here was good has more to do with people not in the hand. If I 3 bet they are all gone. And the more top tier hands I can play against the HJ the better.

Also, if I was just against the Button, I still think calling here is better than 3 betting, since my hand has 58% equity and this guy will c bet. I am assuming I am equally skilled as he is. Thus, as long as my position doesn't offer me a greater than 16% disadvantage it is a call.
