i guess the flop bet is ok, but i would prefer to bet bigger here. I definately bet alot bigger on the turn though. Its not about trying to "trick" our opponent into putting in some more money, its about thinking about what he might have and what he might call with. Flush draws will call bigger, high aces call bigger, a stray 6 calls bigger, etc. Pretty much everything that called the flop will call a larger turn bet and so we can bet more. I look at this hand and think you are absolutely terrified of having him fold and arent thinking about the opponents range at all.

I insta reraise all in on the turn. We can be pretty confident he has a 6 or that we are set over setting someone here often enough that it gets a call...although a larger turn bet makes our action after being raised trivial.

cliff notes: agree with badgers, think about ranges

no point in posting a hand where you got all the moneys in with aces full and still managed to lose raise more PF, after that no biggies, stuff happens.

    STOP BEING RESULTS ORIENTED.

You have the 2nd nuts, which is going to be the nuts a crapload of the time. Fistpump when he raises and calls your AI.

That beings said flop needs to be like 1.4-1.6 so you can put him AI on the turn with like a 3/4 PSB.

jterry, we love hand histories here, but please don't post so many at once. Sticking to 3 at a time is probably a good start.

Like everyone said, stop posting results. We honestly don't care about those at all.

Do you know what a bad beat or a cooler is? If you don't, ask us. If you do, please don't post them.

    Thanks!

those are some really girly bet sizes. bet closer to the pot. theres a diamond draw there so if someone wants to pay, we're going to make them pay maximum

as far as results go, nh
