Take my advice with a grain of salt since I suck at poker and I just started playing again a few weeks ago after a long hiatus.

On that note:

With the hand example I gave, we have a massive combo draw and it's a good idea to get the money in when we can put in the last bet. If we just had the 9hi FD vs this big of a nit, I'd likely just fold since we have major reverse implied odds w/ our hand. He could already have a set which would cut out a FD out and he could still hit the FH. Not to mention AKdd, AQdd, etc.

The more aggro he is and likely to stack off with an overpair (in this situation JJ+) I don't have a problem trying to get the money in.

Should probably mention fold equity and shit, but w/e. You can easily look these things up.
