2 Hands vs same villain: flopped top set on mono flop

Both hands were within 15 minutes of each other. Villain is 32/12 over 150 hands. He seems fishy and a bit of a station without the betting lead but aggressive with the betting lead. I've stacked him on a dry flop in the past when he had tp weak kicker.

We're always shipping both hands, right? I'm a little bit uncomfortable on hand 1 given this looks like the nut flush and I'm a little bit uncomfortable on hand 2 given effective stacks are 200bb.

That's really not true when the flop is 4bet, but call anyway.

On hand 2, I'm always calling against the shortie on the sb HU. My concern is that the 200bb main villain of the piece is behind me and his last action on the flop was aggressive. By calling the shortie's shove, are we hoping that the deep villain re-shoves and then calling it off?

Hand 1 anyone prefer a c/r to leading?

Hand 2 get it in.

H1: c/c flop; lead turn
H2: call

H1 don't c/c flop. Bet pot, call raise. c/c river is obv fine.

H2 we're getting a great price to draw on the boat, that's without considering the showdown value of our set. I get a boner stacking off here.

No. I don't donk bet often, but this spot I do. Pot size. Always. Same with top two and shit flush.

I'd check raise hand 1. Villain will c bet here sometimes with abso air plus will continue with pair + draw and occasionally spaz on you too.

OP said that the villain is agro when he's got the lead. Why take that from him by leading or announce the strength of your hand by a c/r on the flop?

imo, c/c flop then lead turn so that when he raises we can shove. I can also see an argument for a c/r on the turn.

I like c/r a lot lot more than c/c. I mean we have top set here and people will chase flush at awful prices, even when they have minimal implied odds. I don't like to check because I don't want villain to check behind. But if we're confident he's going to bet, then yeah I can stomach a c/r. But c/c just seems really passive when we should be exactly the opposite.
